AMU is Live!

Last Updated on Sunday, 09 October 2011 14:30

It is indeed my pleasure to announce that after months of preparation, AndroidMeUp (or AMU, pronounced as A-MU, as we fondly call it) is finally Live!

A lot of people has asked me "Why Android?". My answer to this has always been "Why not?"

More specifically, the below reasons should suffice as of now:

1) Android - a brainchild of Google - coming into this competitive mobile domain with the underdog tag, playing catch-up, and giving its other competitors a real run for their money.

2) Who can resist giving their support to a great product that can, quite realistically, change the attitude of a company that gives a nonchalant answer regarding their recently released smartphone by saying "Well, if you have signal issues, why not try changing the way you hold your phone?". May I ask who are the consumers here? =)

3) Quite simply put, Android has unlimited potential, being able to support a whole host of features that other mobile OS will be trying to emulate in days to come.

With that in mind, this team has been assembled to provide a one stop resource not only for mobile and tech enthusiasts, but also for the everyday users. It is our goals and aims to make this website as enjoyable for you as it is for us.

I will also like to take this chance to offer my heartfelt thanks to the marvelous team at Ripplewerkz for a job well done and to all the people that have contributed their feedback to the development of this website.

Without any of you, this website will not have been possible.

The AMU team is aware that the completion of the website is just the beginning of a long journey - one that might stretch into months and years before any tangible results can be seen. We will continue to do our best and please do feel free to give your comments and suggestions to us via Contact Us.

Much thanks!
