Samsung has recently published a complete list of its handsets that will receive upgrades to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
First on the list to be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich will be the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note which will come sometime in Q1 of 2012. No major surprises here. The second phase will be for the Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy R, and the different versions of the Galaxy Tab. There has been no confirmed release dates for the second phase from Samsung as of now.
Unfortunately, this will also mean that users of the other Samsung Galaxy Line smartphones will not have an official Android ICS update for their models and would have to source around for a custom ROM for them. The folks over at XDA-Developers have just come up with the first release candidate version for the Samsung Galaxy S.

If you wish, you can take a look at the thread over at XDA-Developers for the custom ROM.
