Lenovo Thinkpad and IdeaPad Getting ICS-ed in Q2

Last Updated on Thursday, 02 February 2012 00:39

In the battle of Android tablets, Lenovo is the latest to announce that they will be offering tablets running on the latest Android OS, Android 4.0. For the second quarter of the year, Lenovo has plans to update their Thinkpad tablet. Although this might seem impossible, with Q2 only a few months away, Lenovo is pretty confident that they’ll have the tablet in time for the expected date. Considering that the Thinkpad already came out last summer, Lenovo will have enough time to provide the update for the tablet.

In addition to the Thinkpad, the IdeaPad is also bound to make the switch to Ice Cream Sandwich. Combined with Lenovo’s track record for producing remarkable tablet hardware, it can be expected that when these two tablets get the update, people will be rushing to get their hands on it. Not to mention that the Thinkpad is rocking a pretty good keyboard dock too.

If you currently own either of the two Lenovo tablets, how do you feel about this news? Are you excited to get the ICS update on your tablet?
