On a constant pace to redefine technology, Google is believed to be in the process of developing a new Android powered device—by way of smart glasses. Sources say that the experimental project is already under development in one of Google’s equipped laboratories.
The report on this was made by 9to5Google blog, which reveal the "Google Glasses" will feature a built-in heads-up display. Supposedly, the device will be a stylish one, resembling a pair of Oakley shades with an integrated transparent display for one eye; as well as a built-in front-facing camera (that will be really cool). Many believe that the latter will be used for augmented reality apps. Surprisingly, the device is rumored to use head tilting and speech for text input and control.

With regards to when we will be seeing this device, 9to5Google has suggested that the product will be making a soft-launch with a pilot program in the later part of the year where the product will be available to a selected group of testers.
Even if this turns out to be just speculations, its concept is still pretty awesome. As of this writing, there are already some existing products in this category. However, they are not so easy to purchase and definitely, they are not priced for anybody to buy.
If the Google Glasses become a reality, who’s lining up for one?
