In the Android tablet scene, Samsung has been maintaining a low profile since the start of the year (after its court battle with Apple and even in the recent CES). Now, all that’s about to change. The Korean giant has just revealed possible launches of a couple of new Android ICS tablets at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
With the recent news that the Kindle Fire has overthrown the most popular Samsung Android tablet (the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1), the Korean manufacturer has revealed plans for a comeback. Rumor has it that Samsung will be releasing two tablets running on quad core processor and Wi-Fi ready in the MWC event scheduled later this month. Even though details of the two upcoming tablets are not yet final, there are many who speculate that they will have a 11.6-inch screen and a 2560x1600p screen resolution.

Recently, Samsung had a couple of tablets (codenamed GT-PT3100 and GT-P7510) receive Wi-Fi certification. Perhaps these aren’t the two tablets rumored to be seen at the MWC, but another set of tablets codenamed P3100 and P5100.
While more people are talking about other possibilities with the new Samsung tablets, our best bet is to stay quiet and wait until the MWC on February 28. So until then, who knows what Samsung really has in store for all the Android fans out there.
