To install 3rd party Android applications on your Android phone, there are several free apps in the Android Market that can help you to do just that.
Steps as below:
- Copy the APK file you want to install to your phone's memory card.
- Go to Android Market and search for the AppsInstaller or ApkInstaller application.
- Choose any one of these apps and click on the Install button.
- After it is installed, open the app (AppsInstaller or ApkInstaller).
- It will show you all the 3rd party APK files stored directly in the root directory of your memory card.
- Just click on the application you want to install
- You are done!
Alternatively, you can choose to use Astro File Manager. In general, the same steps as above will apply.
