Press Release:
Android app “Car Music” released!
Harrogate, England – 11/12/2010
Independent software developer, Andrew Wilson, announces Car Music, a media player application for Android handsets on sale now at the Android Marketplace and AndroidPIT App Center for £1.50.
Most people today use their phones to email, update friends on social networking sites, browse the web and listen to music. They take their phones to work, to the gym, on dates and on holiday. Why is it then that the phone that contains all of your favourite music is so difficult, and sometimes dangerous, to use in the car?
Car Music has been designed from the ground up to be used safely while driving with big text, large easy to use buttons, easy track selection and specially designed controls. Car Music also includes simplistic gesture and voice controls so you don’t even need to look at the screen to control your music library. Innovative extra features have also been added for in and out of car media playback such as, inline playlist viewing with just a swipe of the screen, big friendly Shuffle button, lock orientation, last track action select and a sleep timer.
Car Music is an ongoing project with extra features planned for the coming months such as lockscreen controls, theme support, speed dependant volume and a homescreen widget.
