Mint.com Launches Official App for US and Canada Android Tablet Users

For all Mint.com fans, we’ve got some great news for you! You can now use your favorite financial management software on your Honeycomb or ICS tablet as Mint.com recently launched an official app for 9 and 10-inch Android tablet models.

However, we’ve gotten reports that other 7-inch tablet users were still able to operate the app on their device. Obviously, it hasn’t been optimized for this screen size, but it’s worth a shot.

If this is the first time you’ve heard of Mint.com, it’s actually a website you can use to keep your finances in line. With the app, you can have personalized budgeting options and even financial tracking. Moreover, the app sends an automatic monthly summary of your accounts.

The app, Mint.com, seems to be doing fairly well in the tablet scene. In fact, developers are among the growing Android tablet user base because of the app.

“In the next few months, Android tablets are expected to hold more than 40 percent of the market share,” said Intuit Inc.’s Personal Finance Group general manager, Aaron Forth. “As tablet use rises, more mobile-savvy people will look for ways to manage their lives across multiple devices, so we developed our Android tablet app to bring simple money management tools to their fingertips.”

For all tablet users, this bit of information can serve as good news, as it foreshadows developers who are now shifting their attention to the growing number of Android tablet users.

If you need a financial management app to help you keep track of your finances, you can download Mint.com for free. However, the app is currently only available for US or Canada users.
