He also added that getting the Optimus Pad in Japan just shows their commitment to the Japanese market. Certainly, this news should has already spread like a virus to every tech junkie in Japan and they are all set to purchase the Optimus Pad come 15th March 2011 though the final price has not yet been disclosed.
Today the good news have crossed the Atlantic as well since the LG G Slate was spotted for pre-order on MobileCity. The price tag is set to $699 but there is no mention of a release date.
The Optimus Pad comes with Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system and runs at 1GHz Tegra 2 dual core processor which is all you need to enjoy this tablet to its fullest. In addition, one of the surprising features LG has included in this device is its capability to capture videos in 3D. You heard it right, 3D! Whether this is a tie-breaker or not, 3D is all the rage these days when it comes to movies.
